I seemed to remember a movie way back in the early 80's.  It starred the late Andy Kaufman, and still very talented Bernadette Peters.  I scoured the web and found nothing, that is until I typed in "heartbeeps" as one word and not two.  A handful of pictures are all that I found.  Essentially it is a forgotten film.  I am a great fan of Andy Kaufman, and remember watching his goofy stage presence "live", before all the reruns played as his tribute when he was no longer with us.  The funny thing is that I have never seen this film.  No one I have talked to remembers it either.  The part main thing I do remember though, is the plastic looking robot makeup- that's what fascinated me when I was a kid.  I can't tell you anything about this film other than Andy and Bernadette are two married robots.  There may be a reason why this film is not remembered, but with the re-emergence of Jim Carrey as "Andy Kaufman" in the current film "Man on the Moon", this tiny page will help to preserve Heartbeeps : )
