I finally made time to see Judge Dredd, starring Sylvester Stallone as Judge Dredd.  I actually liked it.  I had been avoiding it because it just looked silly.  After giving the film a chance, I realized it did a nice job capturing the original British comic book series, which I am also learning about.  It's campiness was intentional as well as entertaining and well done.  The special effects were as good as any rival film in it's class.  Needless to say, the reason I wanted to see this movie is because of the ABC Warrior character which is a testament to the artists that created the movie prop.  I thought he was fantastic!

The ABC Warrior was a collectible relic built for war about half a century prior to the Judge Dredd timeline.  They are only available to licensed collectors providing they are disarmed.  Here we see Rico the diabolical villain, being naughty as expected, re-arming the old antique robot.  I must say that nobody could have done a better job playing Rico than Armand Assante, who threw himself into the antagonistic roll.  Learn more from the links below.
