Special Comments:
These were very popular when I was very young in the 60's.  I never had my own Rockem Sockem Robots until now.  They were reproduced several years ago, and now I have my very own.  They aren't as sturdy as I had remembered, but I was 5 years old in 1969.  It was made well enough for me!

Object of game:
The object of the game is simple.  Use the hand controls with corresponding buttons and 'punching arms'  to knock your opponent's "block off" (his head!).  The term "knock his block off" was what I remember from the original television commercial in the sixties.  The heads are spring loaded, and spring up when the robots heads are hit just right.
