Robot Video Game Gallery
Arcade games were a fun part of my life in the early eighties as a teen.  I was living on the cusp before quality arcade style games could be played at home.  Video arcades were the clubs of the youth.  As I recall, I remember being with friends when I heard a robotic voice speaking.  Astonished, we all turned around to see our first talking arcade machine.  It was Berzerk.  To this day, it is still my favorite robot themed arcade game.  The sound samples you hear on this page are taken from the game, as well as the two yellow robot friends below.

Video games display a veritable explosion of creativity.  I have put together over eighty pictures that I consider to be robot related.  Because of the extreme nature and imagination of these games, it is sometimes hard to tell if a graphic is either a robot, a spaceship, an android, or a mix of all of the above.  There are literally a few thousand of these arcade games, and these are just a few examples.  Look at the pictures carefully and see if you can tell why I used it on my robot page.  Follow the humanoid robot Megaman (or Rockman) below as he takes you on a short tour of yesterday's digital graphics museum!
